What’s in a Cache Crate?
Every month, you’ll receive a carefully curated box containing items hand-picked by Lookout Lisa to reflect a theme, season or geocaching experience. These boxes are a surprise – because surprises are fun! Follow Lookout Lisa on social media to catch sneak peeks and hints throughout the month, but the details will stay a mystery.
Every Cache Crate™ starts with a main item that reflects the theme of the month. Lookout Lisa then chooses other items to complement that main item. Each thoughtfully curated box includes a variety of items that are fun, functional, unique and will help to keep you comfortable and ready for geocaching. All boxes are packed and fulfilled in-house by our Cache Advance team.

Meet Lookout Lisa
I’m the founder of Cache Advance. I started geocaching in 2002 while attending WSU (Go Cougs!). After a few years of caching I was becoming frustrated with the lack of dedicated geocaching gear.
I launched Cache Advance in 2005 with just one product, Dr. B’s Cache Repair Kit, to fill a need that I had, and so many others too. Since then we’ve grown our retail gear site, sell wholesale to other geocaching stores, and even design and manufacture geocoins.
I launched the Cache Crate subscription box in 2015 to bring everything together into one amazing and fun box.

Cachekinz are the first colorful trackable tags for geocaching, and are manufactured by Cache Advance, Inc. These are light weight and durable aluminum, and can also have a hitchhiker attached with the ball chain that is included.
Cachekinz can be activated at geocaching.com just like any other Travel Bug or trackable.

A Geocoin is a special trackable invented by Moun10Bike. Geocoins are often created by geocachers to commemorate special events or as a signature item to leave in geocaches.

A trackable is a moveable item within the game of geocaching which travels from geocache to geocache. Trackables appear in many shapes and sizes and are different from other SWAG items you may find within a geocache.
Each trackable includes a six-digit code somewhere on the item. This code is unique to the trackable and tracks its specific journey around the world.
Trackables are most commonly seen within Traditional Caches, Multi-Caches, and at Event Caches. In general, the larger the size of a physical geocache, the greater the chance that there could be a trackable inside.

How the Cache Crate works:
Sign up and we'll send out a box of great gear EVERY MONTH!
Shipping:
We ship between the 15th and end of each month.
Our cutoff for each month is the 14th; if you join after the 14th of any month, your first Crate will be shipped the following month.
Cache Crate Shipping is $6/month. Combo Crate Shipping is $9.50.
Canadian shipping is an additional $9/month.
International Shipping beyond Canada is an additional $19/month.
